The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center in Blue Ridge, Georgia, and we are searching for a PRN Physical Therapist.
SHIFT:
PRN
POSITION PURPOSE
To deliver exceptional patient care through thorough evaluation, individualized treatment planning, and effective implementation of therapy services. The goal is to restore function, prevent disability following illness or injury, and promote the profession of physical therapy through education for students, hospital staff, and other healthcare professionals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform comprehensive assessments of referred patients.
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans based on evaluation findings.
- Adjust treatment programs as needed to maximize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment strategies and rehabilitation processes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for coordinated care.
- Mentor and educate students and healthcare staff to promote the physical therapy profession.
- Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes, adhering to legal and regulatory standards.
- Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives related to physical therapy.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Graduation from a CAPTE-approved physical therapy program or equivalent.
Experience:
- Relevant experience in physical therapy preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Licenses/Certificates:
- Current Georgia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Current CPR certification.
