Position Overview
BizFirst is supporting our client in the search for a
full-time Change Management Trainer to support enterprise change management and
user enablement efforts across a dynamic federal modernization program. This
role is central to developing and delivering training, coordinating with
functional teams, and supporting user adoption initiatives. The ideal candidate
is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in training delivery,
development, and integration with testing and change teams.
Our client is a
specialized management consulting firm that engages experienced professionals
and consultants to support the federal government with strategic project
execution, financial process optimization, advanced IT solutions, and
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation. Through innovative
transformations, they develop and implement strategies to optimize operations
for military departments and agencies across the U.S. Federal Government.
What You Will Do
As a Change Management Trainer, you will support ongoing
change initiatives through hands-on training development, delivery, and
planning efforts. You will participate in daily and weekly scrum meetings,
develop training documentation, and collaborate with change and user acceptance
testing (UAT) teams. You will also create training content to include training
videos, user guides, quick-reference docs, and manuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop,
deliver, and schedule training sessions and supporting materials for
client teams.
- Attend
Orbit FM Daily Planning meetings (Monday through Thursday).
- Attend
multiple daily Orbit FM Refinement meetings.
- Participate
in Orbit FM Functional Scrum meetings on Fridays to provide status
updates.
- Attend
other client meetings as needed based on project dynamics.
- Sync
weekly with the Change Management team to review updates, templates, and
supporting software (Tuesdays).
- Create
training content to include training videos, user guides, quick-reference
docs, and manuals.
- Create
visual workflows for business processes to supplement training
documentation.
- Collaborate
with the UAT team to walk through user stories and ensure integration of
training with test scenarios.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
Minimum 3 years in a training, instructional design, or change management
support role.
- Training
Skills: Demonstrated experience delivering, developing, and scheduling
training content to include training videos, user guides, quick-reference
docs, and manuals for enterprise systems or business processes.
- Collaboration:
Proven ability to work closely with functional and testing teams to
support user readiness.
- Tools:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SharePoint
required.
- Communication:
Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
- Location
Flexibility: Comfortable working remotely with ability to travel
occasionally to client sites in Huntsville, AL and/or Tysons Corner, VA.
